What you need are the facts. There is a lot of general information available, but remember that every child is different, and your doctor is the best person to arm you with the knowledge you need. The internet has many resources to help, but information may be inaccurate or not relevant to your child.
We like the information and graphics provided on the
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital site, which has a great encyclopaedia of heart problems. It is a good place to start but your
cardiologist or
surgeon will give you the best information relevant to your child’s condition.
